No, not quite. Students gain real-world experience and benefits much like an internship or externship, but they will complete the company project with their classmates as part of their coursework for course credit (and/or to fulfill their experiential learning requirements) with regular check-in meetings with their class instructor and the company/client—all planned & facilitated by SOC.
