Are the students paid for the projects?

While we encourage direct payment, it is very rare, as most of our company partners are non-profits/small businesses, and even for the larger ones, paying 20-30 students in a class is simply not financially feasible. However, as this is part of a course students are already taking, students receive course credit (&/or fulfill their experiential/project-based learning requirement). The benefit to students is the opportunity to gain real-world experience and bolster their resumes by working on a project for a company that may consider them for future work and employment.
