Step by Step Process for Companies and Faculty

For Companies

1. Create a project: Register/Sign in on SOC's Portal here & add a 2-3 sentence project idea (to get started! We will help you fully realize your project idea at a later juncture, if needed)
2. Match to a Class: Find the best-fit classroom for your project and schedule your introductory call with the class instructor(s) (while concurrently receiving emails of interest from interested faculty, once you've added your project idea into our Portal)
3. Prepare for Launch: Review your custom Project Package, provided by SOC. Complete/Sign all required forms & agreement

4. Run/Manage the Project: Check in with the classroom/students for Q&A virtual sessions to ensure your project's success

For Faculty

1. Add your Course: Register/Sign in on SOC's Portal here & add the course(s) that you would like to incorporate a 6-10+ week experiential learning project into

2. Match to a Project: Find the best-fit project for your class and schedule your introductory call (while concurrently receiving emails of interest from company partners)

3. Prepare for Launch: Review and customize the Project Details, working with SOC and the company partner

4. Support the Project: Have the company partner call in to your class for 30-60 minutes every 1-2 weeks. Students give final presentations or submit final deliverables at the end of the 4-12 weeks
